Fish Strips (Tiritas or fajitas)

Fish Tiritas (fajitas)

Ingredients

½ kg  of sea bass fillet
½ cup lemon juice
3 chopped green serrano chiles into thin strips
½ cup red onion, sliced very thin
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon freshly ground black pepper
2 tablespoons dried oregano
1 red tomato, cut into strips

1 Avocados
Tortilla chips

Preparation

Cut fish into strips 3 to 5 inches long and ½ inch thick (make sure they are not very thick because the lemon juice will cover the fish alone for a while and should have as much contact as possible with all the pulp). Store in refrigerator in a covered container
Just before serving, marinate the fish with the lemon juice for 5 minutes and add the serrano chiles, onion, tomato, salt, pepper and oregano. Mix well and check the salt.
Serve with tortilla chips and avocado
