Taste of Sister Cities

The Mexico City Committee of Chicago Sister Cities International, in partnership with Kendall College, will host the Taste of Sister Cities: Mexico City fundraiser on Wednesday, October 19 at 6:00 p.m. The event, in commemoration of the 20th Anniversary of Chicago’s Sister City relationship with Mexico City, will feature culinary creations of renowned chefs from Chicago and Mexico City.

Chicago chefs include:

  • Jimmy Bannos, The Purple Pig and Heaven on Seven
  • Rick Bayless, Frontera Grill, Topolobampo and XOCO
  • Greg Elliott, Lockwood Restaurant
  • Carlos Gaytan, Mexique
  • Laura Piper, Trattoria No. 10
  • Arun Sampanthavivat, Arun’s
  • Randy Waidner, Gibsons Steakhouse

Mexico City chefs include:

  • Lula Martin del Campo, Roca
  • Enrique Olvera, Pujol
  • Daniel Ovadia, Paxia
  • Jair Tellez, MeroToro
