New Museum Exhibit Opens: MAYA SECRETS of their ANCIENT WORLD

As the world focuses on Mayan history and culture with 2012 on the horizon, a timely exhibit at the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) in Toronto, Canada has opened featuring the very best of Artifacts from ancient Mayan collections – Most of the exhibition’s remarkable objects have been selected from numerous Mexican museums in the Yucatan Peninsula region where the Maya mainly lived. Most of the showcased objects have never before been seen in Canada. Many, only recently excavated, are recognized as among the most significant archaeological finds ever discovered.
